I am wanting to build a clock here that has 2 hour hands. I am thinking of useing 10079. Is it possable to fit 2 hour hands on this movement?

Is there anything I need to watch out for doing this?

I do not think you would be able to use two hour hands, but only because the center shaft is tapered for the fit of each type of hand. A possible way around this would be to order two sets of hour and minute hands (two sets which are differeing lengths). You could use the hour hand from one set, while you use a similar length minute hand from another set. This is one of the only ways that I see that this could be accomplished. You can always contact Klockit to find out hour hand lengths for any hand set.

The point would be to have 2 hour hands, and a single minute hand, and second hand. This is to show the time in 2 seperate time zones on one clock.

I am making a replica of the old Chelsea ships radio room clock.
