Many thanks for your repsonse. It is FHS and stamped with the letter B. Your assesment of the workings seems correct. I will have a look later to see if it is doing the full turn.

After a page and a half of comments back and forth I would have to say that this movement is beyond a simple adjustment and is need of professional service.

Appreciate what you are saying. Clock was sold to me as being fully serviced. Will take it somewhere local to have it checked and wil accept this post as closed.

checking for a full turn of motion is some what tricky. when moving the pin is somewhat invisable until it comes to a stop and reverses its rotation then it only apears for an instance. so when looking for motion you need to look straight in the rear imagine that the lever is standing straight upwrite inline with the axle that caries the balance wheel and watch for the flash of the pin straight oposite of the lever. one full turn or a little more is good. so you might see the pin flash alternatly on either side of the center point. but the you need to determine if its actualy traveling a bit past the 180 degree mark or not quit making it to 180 degrees. These movements are very tricky to service evan for many repairman. i generaly replace them so that the clock will run trouble free for the next 20 yrs. give or take a couple.
