Hello all
I am a Newbie with a clock I would like some advice on. This clock is up for sale. If the Moderators think this inappropriate for this site I do understand. Some site allow advice given to sellers, others don't.

I've got an Advertising Time Zone Clock - or rather bank of clocks.
It is advertising LIBERTO DENIM.
I believe it to be Circa late 1960's - early 1970's.
I have done a bit of research on this item and it appears to be quite rare.
Whether this is true or I just haven't been searching in the right places I honestly don't know.
It contains 3 clocks (Los Angeles, Toulouse, New York) set into a metal box. The box is zinc/tin
Inside shows the same advert as the outside.
Unfortunately only the Toulouse clock works so it is in need of repair. The screws holding the bank of clocks are broken so the clocks are loose.
All parts are intact - just need putting together.
Measures 16ins x 10+3/4ins x 1+3/4ins.
Weighs 1kilo790g before packing.
Battery operated.
I'm sure it's French - only because the centre clock is French and it was found in a French house.

My questions are
1) Is the dating correct?
2) Is it as rare as I think or haven't I looked in the right places?
3) Is it worth repairing for sale or leave it to the buyer.
4) Is it French?

How do I post a picture of it?
Thank you for any help and advice
Jannie

Pictures would definately help. Post pictures on a free photo site (such as flicker) and then provide the link for any photos within this forum post.

I did happen to see your photos on the collector's weekly website. You could post the link to those photos on this forum post as well.

Unfortunately, I am not certain I can identify the clock (as I have not personally seen anything like this before). That being said, I do still have quite a lot to learn about past/antique clock assemblies.

As another suggestion, you can also try posting on the NAWCC:

http://www.nawcc.org/

This site has been around much longer than our humble clock forum, and has a myriad of members. Just make certain you post under the proper category. Between the NAWCC and our forum site, you should have good chances of finally identifying this assembly.
