I was finally able to assemble my quartz movement hour hand, minute hand and second hand. However, now the second hand periodically stops or goes backwards a couple of seconds which, of course, results in the clock keeping poor time. It will eventually move forward but then it will stop again and do the same thing. What is causing this and is there anything that I can do to fix this? Thanks for your help.

If the hex nut/bushing (securing the movement to the clock face) is too tight, it may hamper timekeeping. Also make certain that the pin shaft of the second hand is firmly pushed onto the pin in the center of the clock shaft. In the event that the second hand will not still work, then you may have to contact us for a replacement movement.
