Post subject: ansonia with junhans
i recently acquired a 1970s ansonia regulator clock. the 2 "c"battery op movement is made by junghans w771. can i obtain a manual for this clock? i am having trouble setting the chimes to corrospond with the time, is their a way to reset and how?
has a stop and start button up top.
next adj down is settings for 1.4.0.2
next is for 4 different chimes
next is for chimes loud/soft, on /off, etc. any advice would really help.

Don't think you will get a manual.
Can't think what the clock chime mechanism would be like. Obviously there are battery contacts that control the on/off at each quarter and/or the hour.
I should imagine the 1 = once an hour?
4 = every quarter?
0 = off?
2 = every half hour?

i kinda figured that the manual would be a no go. what my delima is that the chimes are off by a few hrs from real time and also goes off 15mins early every hour. im just trying to figure out how to reset clock.

if it's out the same amount every hour you can move the hour hand around - it should be friction tight.
you may be able to pull the minute hand off and push it on again i the right position.
