Hi, I am doing a hart transplant on a old, from what I could gather, german box wall clock. It had been lying in an un-conditioned attic for decades and the wooden box was in pretty bad shape. Except from the "crown" that is missing, pretty much all the laminated pieces were there, but some parts in an advanced condition of delamination. Only three of the 5 beveled glass panels in a brass frame were in tact so I replaced that with a solid glass piece for a start - will order remanufactured bevel glass pieces when I get it going again just because the bevels do create a nice effect when the pendulum is swinging behind it. Athough I have restored the wooden box I gave up on the mechanics (for now at least). I decided to go for a "bim bam" electrical module transplant.

There are no identification markings on the unit other than the logo the picture below. There is one stamp on the mechanism frame stating 46 c/m 29 c/m where the 29 c/m is struck out. I guess that had something to do with the length of the pendulum (that is also missing).

Any idea of who the original manufacturer could have been?

Can't say that it is a tradmark symbol I am familiar with, but you could also try here:

You may be able to submit the logo to them for identification. Be sure to keep checking back here as well.

The movement stamp definately describes the pendulum. Looks like there were two options. Does the striken out number indicate that it is the pendulum length being used (or is it striking it out indicating a 46 cm pendulum requirement)? Unfortunately, I am not certain...
