I am finishing up my first clock project and need to attach the parchment clock face. What is the best method for doing this. Just tack it at the corners? I have thought about using a white glue to glue it on and then painting over it with a dilution of white glue to encase it and protect it like I remember doing with decoupage projects years ago. Any other ideas?

I use spray on adhesive to attach any dials I replace on repairs. White Glue I fear would wrinkle your dial, I you want the dial exposed to the elements in your home, it probably would be fine to decopage it.

You can also use double stick tape (in the corners). Just make certain to buy the double stick tape for scrapbooking (so that the tape will not become brittle over time). 3M makes a spray adhesive (called super 77) that will work as well. Both should be available at your local "Mart" in the craft sections.
