I am looking for a "AA" battery movement for my B8890 Arista Mantel Clock. It has a quartz 85 movement made in germany. W0851/00675.

Most quartz movements are pretty universal, so a replacement should not be too complicated to locate. First, determine if you want a chiming movement or standard (time only) movement. Also determine if a pendulum will be required.

From there, you will need to know the thickness of material the center shaft will be required to pass though. This will include the thickness of the clock face, and any possible backing board it may be attached to. With this thickness measurement, you can select a movement with a shaft thickness that will work best. For example: If your dial is 1/8" thick - and attached to a 1/4" piece of wood, then you would need a movement with a maximum dial thickness of 3/8" (min).

A couple of other notes: Do not forget to look at the overall movement dimensions - and to make certain your case can accommodate it. Also, take a measurement of your minute (longer ) hand length from the center of the mounting hub to the end of the hand. Hands of various styles can be selected and included (free) with purchase of any quartz movement. You will just need to reference the minute hand length as described above.

You are also welcome to contact Klockit as well. We would be happy to assist with movement and hand determination.
