Greetings,

I had some beautiful, baked-enamel discs made for me that I want to use as bobs in some pendulum clocks I'm building. My question, then, is if I replace the bob that comes with the pendulum with my custom bob, will it negatively effect the performance of the clock?

Some of my custom bobs are 3" dia. and weigh 45 g. Others are 2.5" and weigh 33 g.

Thanks, in advance, for your replies.

the pendulum does not effect the time keeping of the clock, and the pendulum just swings freely on it's own inertia.

You can also buy a powered pendulum unit, if the pendulum is too heavy.
