Post subject: Cherub Clock
Some years ago I inherited a clock from my uncle. I would like any info at all on this clock. It is apparently a brass or bronze cherub clock on a marble stand. The cherub holds a torch, which is the clock face. On the back of the clock is written: The Star Clock Company, Bridgeport Connecticut. The word patented and the dates May 6, 1890, Dec. 29. 1890, and Jan. 13, 1891 are also on the rear of the clock mechanism. The trademark is a star with the letter "S" in the center of it. I would like any info on this clock and its possible worth if any. Thanks.
