I just bought a "London" clock on ebay which needs a weight. Is there an index or easy way to determine the correct size, type, weight, and hook style in such a case?

I'm sorry to say that the term "London" doesn't describe any particular type of clock. Additional information or description and possibly a photo would be necessary before a weight or other accessories for your clock could be suggested.
