Post subject: Cleaning a clock face
Dear Folks,
Hi. I just got a Globe Clock Co grandfather clock, and I am trying to refurbish it. It is gorgeous, but I need to remove the hands and take the works out to clean. I trying to figure out what to use to clean the face. It appears to be engraved metal with shiney brass? numbers. Any ideas? Is anyone familiar with Globe Clock Co clocks? Thank you for your time.

I would just use a soft brush to clean. Any type of cleaner may remove or discolor some of the finish.
