I have a handmade,handed down schoolhouse clock.One of the wind springs has broken. It is 2"measured across the teeth,7/8"thick and has the number11 stamped on it any help finding a new one?

You might try Merritts Antiques or Timesavers for replacement mainsprings. Their catalogs list mainsprings which includes the width, length and tensile strength of each. Both firms have websites.
