Clock Stops

Out of the blue, my pendulum clock won't run in certain places in the house. Some places it works fine and then I move it to another location and it runs for a few minutes and quits. Any ideas?

is it a mantel clock, if so it may need to be made level. If possible I would check with a small level. You can also make thin cardboard shims, and shim a side until you get a consistent tic tock.

Are you making sure the clock is level and plumb left to right, front to back?
What kind of clock?
