Could anyone tell me about this clock?

Hey everyone. This clock has been in my family for years, and is now at my parents house. From what I can read, it is a Spaudling & Co. made clock, and says "Chicago" beneath that. I also opened the back and it reads "Made in France", and has the date "7/31/25" hand engraved on the back, from what I can read.

Could anyone give me any more info on this clock?

It is a french clock probably in the 1800's when the style was most popular. If you do a google on marti clocks you will find many similiar to yours. Here is a similar one
