Hi, this clock was passed down from my great-grandfather to my grandfather and now to my mother. Im just interested in the history of the clock and where it comes from. Who made it etc. etc.

If you need me to get any more information, pictures let me know what you want and ill get it up here in double time.

huge blurred pictures but i can tell it's about 18th century and a nice example of LONGCASE clock.
can't tell who made it so won't be able to tell you where it came from.

is there a name on the mechanism?

obtain as much info from family as you can.

these are worth much more than painted dial longcase clocks.
