I currently have an Anton Schnieder 8-Day Musical Chalet <http://www.cuckooclockologist.com/myimages/8TMT%201555_9SM.jpg>
and cannot for the life of me seem to get the time set correctly. It's either too fast or too slow. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice? Thanks

it takes time to get a cuckoo to beat the correct time. I like to get it the same time as the rest of the clocks in the house. A cell phone will work just great. when the sell phone hits the hour i move the hands to that time and let it run. and when it hits the half hour and the cuckoo isn't quite there yet. I'll move the pendulum up just a little bit. or if the cuckoo beats the cell phone to the half hour or hour i move it down just a little bit. it takes time. it may take a few days or weeks it all depends how much you work with it. I been working with my rail road clock for over a year and i got it right on now. I think, now this is my own opinion, that weather and humidity plays a part on how an (old) clock runs. just my 2 Cents.

depends how much time the clock is off. One thing to keep in mind is that the clock is mechanical device, and you are not going to have the precision of a digital clock.
