Hi Sorry been away for a while. I wanted to get some info on the clock and thought maybe someone had just taken some pieces of different ones and put them all together. Good to hear that this is probably not the case! Anyway the clock has now started making loud donging noises on the O'clock and one dong on the half hour. Got character! I will take it to a clock repair shop to see if it can be serviced. Does anyone know how or what the word "cannon" represents? It also has the words "31 day" written on it and has two slots of winding with the key.

31 day clocks for the most part are from asia, and are not very reliable timepieces.

Amrad, 31 day clocks are usuallKorean and very accurate when they are running.I have owned several.Perhaps not the best made, especially the newer ones. But they do keep amazing time.
