Post subject: Does anybody have info on an art deco gilbert alarm clock
Hello, first time posting in this forum, bit of newbie to collecting antique/vintage clocks, and am stumped with my latest purchase, a Gilbert alarm clock, The dial has 'Gilbert' and 'Made in USA', inside I found the number '4689' and 'Continental Die Casting Corp'. It's made out of a thin metal with an off white enamel coating.
some pictures:
Any information on the clock (especially a date or era) would be greatly appreciated

The style of this clock almost seems to have a 1920's feel to it (but this is strictly my opinion). I did happen to come across some info:
Hope this helps to point you in the right direction...

Hello, I have read through those and am thinking it's 20s-late 30s now, but does anyone down there have a closer date? I've searched the net for hours to find a similar clock to no avail
