Post subject: Enfield Clock Company
Hi everyone I'm new to the forum and i have an Enfield clock company clock which was my late fathers however i was wondering when it was made and if they are sought after by dealers etc etc.
Unfortunately its gathering dust and wont ever be used by me so i would like it to go to someone who would enjoy it. it has enfield made in london and silent chime on the front and thats about it as far as i can tell.
I can add pictures if required.
Thanks
Chris

Enfield has been around since the late 1920's (near as I can glean from the internet). Perhaps the case itself has more information. Try to remove the back panel (if possible) to see if there are any sort of markings (what have you) that would identify the clock assembly.
Antique Enfields seem to sell between $40 and $300 (USA) on various auction sites. Perhaps this can be used as a basis to help establish an idea of clock value. If you can not locate the name of the assembly, perhaps you may find similar looking clocks through various auction sites. Note that auction sites do not serve as the best means to value your assembly (but can give you a ball park figure of potential value).
