I read on an earlier post that you could send a picture of an Enfield clock to someone and they could help you date it. I have one that is like a miniature long case clock, 40" tall, and would love to know more about it. I can't seem to find one anywhere on the net, where would I send a picure for help. Thanks

Enfield clocks were manufactured from 1932 until 1949. Beginning in 1950 the brand name changed to Smiths-Enfield which lasted until the company ended all clock production in 1979.
If your clock only has the Enfield name on it then it would date between 1932 to 1949.
Bear in mind that domestic clock production in the UK was severely limited during the war years from 1939-45. Manufacturing was frequently directed towards producing materials for the war effort.
