Post subject: enfield mantle clock how can i find out more?
im new to this so please be gentle.
i have just got an enfield mantle clock and would like to find out a little more a bout it, where do i start looking? i have no idea what the model is and can only see a number on the inside of the door at the back. it could be 820771 or 520771 or just 20771. it has 2 hole on the front for winding.
can anyone help?

If it is an antique, http://www.antiqueclocksshop.com may be of service to you. They have a pretty extensive selection. I have found that the manufacturer is usually another good place to start... try contacting them.
