Post subject: Extremely long hands
I have a clock that I need to replace the movement. The minute hand is 24 inches total overall length, but from the center of the hole to the end is 15. Basically the minute hand sticks out 9 inches from the movement hole opposite the 15 inches that is read for the minutes. What quartz movement is big enough to power the large hands?

You may be able to go to Target or Walmart and pick-up a similar clock, to get a new movement from.
You could also try a high torque movement as well.

For anything with a minute hand length over 7" (from center mount hub to the end ofthe hand), you will require a High Torque Quartz movement. This type of movement will ensure that there is enough power to move the hands from the "6" to "12" positions without loss of timekeeping.
As a side note, I can not confirm whether or not your existing hands will work with Klockit's movement. As a fail safe, I would recommend ordering new hands if you should purchase Klockit's high torque movement.
