Allow me to admit foremost that I do not have much experience with French movements. Therefore, I can only offer some general (very general) suggestions that I hope may apply to your movement:
1.) Make certain the clock case (in particular the movement) is level.
2.) Look into performing a beat adjustment. It could be that the pendulum is out of beat. In most cases, the pendulum attaches to a pendulum leader. The pendulum leader is usually inserted through a piece called the crutch arm. This crutch arm must swing an equal distance from center to left as it does from center to right. Most movements will allow you to adjust the crutch arm by pushing through slight resistance on the left or right to make certain you have an equal crutch arm swing from center to left/right.
3.) Check to make certain the suspension spring (if applicable) is not broken. In many cases, this piece is attached to the rear upper post of the movement. The pendulum leader (which the pendulum may attach to) will hang from the suspension spring.
4.) Check back for more possible posts from our more knowledgeable forum patrons.
Keep in mind that this information is based upon movements that Klockit sells (and may not apply to your movement). It is my hope these general suggestions might apply and can help.

On the hour and quarter hour chimes referred to as 4/4 chimes, many of Pendulum Wall Clocks offer a chiming function where the clock will play Westminster chimes or other melodies. A volume control not available on keywound clocks and some of these chime sound can offer options such as night-time chime shutoff and very authentic.
Common probs with these clocks are that the teeth are very, very delicate and also the pivots and easily slightly bent.
Look at the suspension for kinks.
did you bush any holes?
it has to have an even beat to work as chris said.
are the pallet faces worn? uneven drop or excessive drop will stop it.
are the mainsprings weak?

Some people (like Setyadica) try to advertise outside of the classified section for some unknown reason. It is, more than likely, a foreign vendor trying to solicit their website to forum patrons. At least the English is better on this post than some of the other posts akin to blatant attempts of advertisement… Awaludin should posts his "valuable"(?) information in the classified section (if he must post at all)...
