Post subject: got a face --need the rest
Hi! I am a pottery student and am making a wall clock face. The surface is going to be uneven and I need to get a clock movement with a shaft long enough for the hands to clear the decoration. How do I get that?
The minute hand needs to be 5 inches long and the hands should be funky to go with the face... Any help or ideas??? thanks...

The longest shaft available for quartz movements will typically acommodate dial faces that are no thicker than 3/4". See stock number 10004 at the link below.
There are a variety of hands to choose from. You may view these by selecting the "clock hands" tab on the left side of the screen (under clock parts). The Klockit catalog also features specialty hands (see page 27). Don't forget, hands can be spray painted for different color options.
