Hi, I hope someone can help me... I've recently moved into a house and some furniture was left including a grandfather clock. Just wanted some more information on it really.
All it says on the clock face is 'Tempus Fugit' and 'C. Wood & Son'. Now I'm assuming it's not worth much at all as they've left it here. Is there any other information that should be printed on the clock anywhere? Can't seem to see anything.

Help greatly appreciated, thanks Smile

A lot more information and also photos would be helpful before an opinion regarding the value (if any) of this clock could be offered.
Tempus Fugit (Time Flies) was, and is, a standard feature found on the dial or the arch of countless clocks over the years.
C Wood & Son doesn't ring any bells just off hand. Further information, if any, would be found stamped into the brass on the movment itself.
