Post subject: grandfathers clock
i have a howard miller grandfathers clock,and the weight in the middle does not catch and just falls,so now the clock does not work.any suggestions?THANKS

Ours does something similar, although it still keeps time. The center weight falls faster than the weights on either side. Usually all the weights fall at a similar rate, but the center one is clearly below the other two, and we'll probably end up in your situation before long.
