granfather clock question

After winding my Howard Miller clock, the clock runs for about 5 minutes and quits, have never had this problem before, its a cabel driven grandfather clock...any suggestions...havnt had this problem before

when was it last serviced?

a clock needs servicing just like a car ut not quite as often.
