Post subject: Hampton Table Clock
I have a Hampton Desk Clock. It is rosewood with an arched case. About 7-7" tall. It is a 24 hr clock. It plays Westminster or Whittington chimes. The back is brass with decorative screws holding it in place and I grill over the speaker sound. It runs on 2 AA batteries. The part that houses the batteries is plastic and the bottom broke off shortly after I received it. The clock (time part) operates on a separate (third) battery, but without the other batteries the chimes do not work. Is there a replacement part for this part of the clock?

I have seen movements similar to what you describe. It sounds like you have a "trigger" movement. These types of movements trigger the chime (which usually has a separate battery compartment from the movement itself).
I am not certain what state the movement is in - however I would like to try to make some suggestions. If you still are able to re-mount the chime battery pack (and make certain it is wired to the movement - whether by re-soldering or crimp connectors), then you may be able to fix it. If it is still wired, and you still have the bottom piece that broke, you may be able to re-glue or wrap tape around it for a simple fix.
Being that I can not see the movement, please understand that it is a bit hard to make conclusive recommendations.
As a last resort, you may have to look into a completely new quartz movement to replace the current one. I am not aware of any manufacturers (at this time) that sell the separate chime battery packs for Quartz movements.
