During the move, the clock mechanism may have been thrown out of beat. If you are certain the clock movement is level (within the case while the case is in its proper location), then the next step is to perform beat adjustment. Check your movement instructions to see if auto-beat adjustment is an option. If not, the beat can manually be adjusted. Note that the pendulum is attached to the pendulum leader (the pendulum leader hangs from the suspension spring). About mid-way up the pendulum leader will be the crutch arm (which will typically stick through the leader). Remove the pendulum and slide the crutch arm out of the leader. The crutch arm should swing the same distance from center to left as it does from center to right. If not, push through slight resistance on the shorter swing side until the swing is equal. Re-mount the leader and pendulum and give it a swing. Remember that beat adjustment is a trial and error process (and you may have to repeat this step to ensure an even "tick-tock" sound). Also note that if this does not correct the problem, you can also check to see if the suspension spring was damaged during the move. Check the thin metal bands in between each plate of the suspension spring to ensure they are not broken.
