Post subject: Help me identify this clock!?
Hi everyone! I have been googling to try and identify anything about this clock, but I am running out of luck. Here is a picture of what it looks like:
There are no markings or labels of any kind. Any help would be appreciated!!
Thank you

Did you remove the mechanism and check the back side of the clock movement for markings? I will venture a guess that it is mounted on a mounting board and slid into the case, maybe locked in place with thumb screws or some such fasteners. Does the case have one or two doors? It is difficult to tell from your photo.
The case is very nice, quality carving, beveled glass in the door, probably convex glass in the upper opening. I like the matching design on the pendulum bob and the clock face also. I would guess maybe a German or Dutch handmade case but I don't have a clue about the origin of the movement without some photos of the interior and the back of the clock mechanism. If you do take some photos, try to get them as clear as possible if you can.

Hi Clockguy thanks for responding!
The case has 2 doors, one up top, and one below.
I followed your instructions and found the sliding mounting board with the 2 thumbscrews and pulled the whole mechanism out!! Here is what the back looks like:
Any suggestions on places that would buy this? Thanks again for your help!!

Don't mean to steal any thunder, but it always interests me when I can learn more about antique clockmakers. Lenzkirch is one that I was unfamiliar with... Until now. Here is the info I came across:
It may be best to have someone authenticate the assembly if you plan to sell it (which I would think would be standard practice with any object that is considered collectible in nature). On the other hand, perhaps this is an assembly that you might want to hang onto... If only for the fact that, in this day and age, hand carved craftsmanship of this nature is few and far between.
