Post subject: Help Removing Movement from Howard Miller Schoolhouse Clock
Hi,
I have a broken barrel spring on a Howard Miller Schoolhouse clock - 341-020 movement. I though the movement would easily come out. It appears that the movement is attached through the face under the dial, but the dial seems heavily glued in place. The mounting nuts on the back of the movement are attached throught 4 shafts that keep the whole movement together. Being a newbie, I want to make sure that there isn't an easier way that I am overlooking before I try getting the dial off. Thanks in advance for any help!
