Hello All,

I'm having some trouble keeping this clock in time.
It is running fast.
On the back of the movement it reads;

79
Hamilton
Two (2) Jewels
Unadjusted
Made in West-Germany
340-020

I did try moving the pointer on the spring flywheel towards the minus (-)
But it only goes so far.

The movement you have is equivelent to Klockit's #13006. If it is running fast, then you are correct to turn the adjustment screw towards the "-". Just make certain you are allowing 24 hours in between each adjustment. This is key! One full turn of that screw should be equal to about 60-80 seconds in a 24 hour period. Once you turn it, allow the clock to run for 24 hours and check to see if further adjustment is required after that 24 hour period. Repeat the process if further adjustments are required.

It's a trial and error process, and may take a couple of nights to achieve. If you are unable to slow the clock down beyond this, then you may have to consider having the movement inspected and/or serviced by a qualified repair person.
