Post subject: Help with a Seth Thomas/Urgos Grandmother Clock Repair
A quick introduction....
A few months ago, my in-laws gave me a Seth Thomas clock that I was told is a grandmother clock and that it hasn't run for several years. After nosing around a little bit, it appeared that the only repair needed was a new suspension spring. I took the two pieces and taped them to the inside of the cabinet.
However, I have lost the old, broken suspension spring during the move to my house and am unable to determine what size I need as a replacement.
Research has led me to believe that it is an Urgos UW32/1A movement.
Also, I was wanting to put a different face on it instead of the "Tempus Fugit" dial.
My two questions are: Can someone tell me what size suspension spring I need, and does anyone make replacement dials??

On your dial replacement, that is going to be hard, as you need to find a dial that fits your case.
Suspension spring, you can try timesavers.com, or clockworks.com
