Post subject: Help with cuckoo clock (electronic)
Hi,
A year ago or so, i was gifted this electronic cuckoo clock from my mother-in-law when she went on a tour in europe and I have been enjoying. Since last week or so, it coos one more than the actual hour. (it coos 11 times at 10 'O clock). Could anybody help me fix this issue..

I would recommend consulting the movement instructions if applicable. I say this only because all quartz cuckoo movements are not necessarily the same. If you do not have instructions, then you could try to correct the problem manually.
This method works well for Klockit's quartz cuckoo movement, and may apply to your movement as well. Try removing the hands and re-mounting at the time which corresponds to your cuckoo chime. If the movement cuckoos 11 o'clock, yet the hands are showing 10 o'clock as the current time, remove the hands and re-mount at 11 o'clock. Use the time set knob to set the movement to the current time. Allow the movement to run to see if this has corrected the problem.
