I have a Howard Miller oversized wall clock Model# 622-757 with oversized metal hands for hour & minute and another movement for just the second hand movement. I would like to change out both of these movements and replace them with the atomic self-setting movement but need some assistance since to place the right order. I understand the metal hands will detune the radio receiver so replacement similar hands would be on the same order.

Looking forward to being able to update these old mechanical movements.
Thanks,
Bill

original movement#'s 354155H & 354211H

If it is an oversized clock, you will want to look into a High Torque atomic movement. High torque would be required for any clock which has a minute hand longer than 7" (from center hub to the end of the hand). You can look into #10171 on the Klockit website. This has a maximum dial thickness of 1/4", which you would want to verify against the existing movement. You just want to make certain that your dial (clock face) is not over 1/4" in thickness to use the #10171. Hands are an additional charge with a high torque movement (as they are over-sized, or large, hands). I do recommend purchasing a set of hands (as I can not be certain you would be able to use the existing ones with our movement). You should not need another movement for the second hand (I would keep the existing movement you have).

Side note: A minute hand under 7" in length would not require a high torque movement (so you could use a standard atomic movement where the free set of hour and minute hands would apply).

The metal hands should not interfere with the radio signal, however a metal clock face (or dial) would. Make certain the clock face is not metal. Please feeel free to call Klockit with any questions or cocnerns. We would be happy to assist in any way we can!
