Hi. I have a mantel clock with a 1050-020 movement. I have a question regarding chimes. Is it normal for a mechanical clocks chimes to slow down as the days pass?? I mean once it gets to the 6th day it kinda slows down. Is that normal??I just had it serviced too

The repairer should have replaced the mainsprings if the clock is older than 10 years.
They go weak and 'set' . this is likely the problem.
They are called 8 day clocks because they should go 8 days.
