Post subject: Hermle 2215 Movement
I need to replace the quartz movement on a wall clock I just purchased. The movement is a hermle 2215 pendulum with Westminster and ave maria chimes. The face of the clock says D&A. I'm a rookie at this. Is there any place I can go that would have instructions for replacing the movement? I understand hermle is pretty good. thank you.

most likely the movement attaches to the dial by the shaft nut. Replacing it should be easy, just find a similiar movement listed in Klockit with the Pendulum Length, and chimes you want.

Post subject: hour hand not moving
I am getting closer and have installed the hands on the movement, however, though the minute hand is working fine now, the hour hand is not moving. Any suggestions?

Make certain the hour hand is not loose on the center shaft (as the hour hand is a friction fit on the center shaft hub). It could also indicate a worn or defective movement. If that is the case, then a replacement is the only option. If you need help with movement replacement, please feel free to give Klockit a call (1-800-556-2548). As a side note, Klockit has a 3 year warranty (from date of purchase) on quartz pendulum/chiming movements.
