Post subject: Hermle 2215 Troubleshooting help!
Hello all I am trying to get some help with my Bulova Westminster Wall clock that chimes when manually turned but the hands do not move at all.. I know that the motor is working because the outer pin turns correctly.. Is it possible that a gear inside is shot? Thanks for any help..

It is possible there could be some internal gear damage, in which case you should consider replacing the movement with a similar likeness if not exact.
Prior to that, there are a couple of things you can check for:
1.) Make certain the center fixation nut (used on the front surface of the clock face to thread onto the center hand shaft and secure the movement) is not too tight. It should only be hand tightened (+ about 1/4 turn). If too tight, it may restrict hand movement. Side note: If your movement is secured with a center fixation bushing (which threads into the movement housing) then this would not be the issue.
2.) Check to make certain the hands are not rubbing against a glass panel, clock face, or each other. Rotate the hands using the time set knob to check. If need be, make careful bend adjustments to the hands to allow proper clearance.
3.) Try replacing the batteries with brand new batteries.
