Post subject: Hermle 351-830 Movement
I bought a used 1999 Howard Miller 613-212 Milan Clock. The clock looks like brand new. The movement is very clean. I notice that the cable on the cable drum is not wound on drum correct. The cable goes across the drum from right to left and then the remaining cable is wound over top of the cross cable. The clock is keeping very good time. I am thinking I should unwind the cable and slowly wind the cable back correctly on the drum. My question is their a release on the movement to let the cable release all the way or do I need to take this drum out of the movement to unwind the cable. Thanks for any info.
PS this clock has a mainsprings on the right and left. The cable drum is in the center.

there is usually a piece of metal called a 'click' holding the weight up. turn the clock upside down to access it.
