Post subject: Hermle 75 151-020
Dear Chris,
We have a mantle clock that was assembled by my step-father a number of years ago. It features a Hermle 151-020 movement and one of the spring barrels is slipping. After examining it I have decided to replace the movement. Which of the Klockit movements would be a satisfactory replacement?
Regards, Michael

Well doc, you are in luck. Hermele is still in business so you can get an exact replacement for that movement.

The 151-020 movement does not appear in current Hermle catalogs and may have been discontinued, although springs and other parts should still be available. Hermle is pretty good at maintaining a stock of replacement parts for their movements both past and present. By the way the '75' stamped on the movement is the year of manufacture.
Hermle movements are/were sometimes available in different pendulum lengths. If you decide to replace the movement with a new one, that plus other pertinent information would be necessary before a replacement could be suggested.
