we need some more informatiom.
Please tell all the numbers and letters on the back plate of the mechanism as this will tell us how old it is and what model it is.
If you have had it some time it may need a service. Dirt plays a huge part in stopping clocks and causes wear which has to addressed.
Later Hermle also suffer from barrel wear and a lot suffer from weak mainsprings.

Ok the h says your clock movement is at least 12 years old.
Probably hasn't been overhauled in that time.
Possibly just needs cleaning and oiling. Unless you know what you rae doing I would recommend an expert do it. It's a nice mechanism.
