I recently bought a new Hermle movement from Klockit (Item 13025) and installed it into a case I built. I've wound all three windups and when I start the pedulum, it tick-tocks for a bit, the tick-tocks get softer then quit and the pendulum slowly comes to a stop. The pendulum is freely swinging (not rubbing) and the hands are not touching each other.

Does anyone have any ideas?

ANy help is appreciated. Thanks-

Matt

make sure the clock is level, also you may need to put the clock in beat by moving the verge to change the position slightly until it ticks evenly. Klockit should be able to provide instructions.
or see #6 on below website.

You can call Klockit with any questions as well. AMRAD is correct: the case/movement either needs to be level, or you may simply require a beat adjustment to the movement.

if it's a longcase movement then just hold the pendulum all the way to one side and let go...the new ones are designed to put themselves in beat.

Yes - I do believe that the 13025 features auto beat adjustment - although if the case is not wide enough, you may have to remove the movement to perform this feature.
