I made a grandfather clock from scratch(oak) with plans provided in a Heirloom project book. The hardware they list is from a place that no longer exist.
I made this same clock about 12 yrs ago, same plans. This particular set of hinges for the hood door are made from brass 1/32 metaL. Measured,bent , cut etc. I did this last time am looking for ready made hinges if they exist. I guess I am losing my ambition at the end of this long running project. Any help out there, I am in southeastern Iowa.
By the way, the plans for this clock are excellent, well planned out ,very descriptive and show how to make all the parts especially when you don't have all of the tools like a shaper. I can send pictures if needed. Thanks, Warren Douglas
