I recently purchased a wall pendulum clock and it was working fine when I got it and all the sudden it just starting chiming and wouldnt stop. I thought the batteries needed changed, so I changed them but it didnt work. I have to remove the batteries completely to keep it from chiming. Any help for this problem would be greatly appreicated. Thank you.

It sounds as though your movement may be defective. While I do not specialize with technical aspects of quartz movements, I would recommend getting a hold of the company the movement was purchased from to see if they could help with trouble-shooting. If you can no longer get a hold of the company (if not purchased through Klockit), then you may wish to consider replacing the movement. Quartz chiming pendulum movements can usually be replaced rather inexpensively.
