Post subject: In Search of Round Wooden Clock Frames
Hello everyone, I'm new here and I hope I'm putting this message under the proper caption.
I'm looking for 10" to 12" round wooden clock frames, they can be finished or unfinished. Does anyone know where to find such items at wholesale prices in the U.S.?
Thanks in advance for the info.

I would recommend contacting Primex USA (1-800-544-0909). They may be able to offer you a rubberwood (unfinished) 12" diameter wood ring at wholesale pricing. The clock ring in question would be stock #349902 and it would accomodate an 8-7/8" diameter clock face (if desired). Make certain to reference this stock number when you contact Primex.
Side note: Rubberwood is an eco-friendly wood product that gains secondary use in cabinetry, flooring, (etc) after primary use for latex yield declines (after about a 30 year period). Rather than destory the trees, they are cut down and used for lumber. Meanwhile, new trees are planted to obtain more latex rubber. Rubberwood has excellent staining characteristics, and takes a variety of colorations well. There is very little difference between heartwood and sapwood coloration, and it has an intersting grain pattern (similar to ash wood).
