I am lucky enough to have one of these, however the mainspring barrel or bearing appears to be defective and the clock will not wind. Can anyone please advise me on what to do or where to go to have it fixed?

Thank you. If anyone is interested I can send or post some pictures.

any qualified clok/watchmaker would be able to do it.
However because its such a good quality piece i wouldn't take it to just any repair shop.
Take it to a specialist in clock repairs because then they should know what they are doing.

when you say it doesnt wind , do you mean the key? is going around but not winding or it doesnt turn or its trying to wind but not holding the wind action?
because of its age i would probably assume the mainspring is broken.

Thanks for the reply.

To answer your questions, the winder goes round but the clock does not wind. It almost feels like something is 'loose'.
