I live in Australia and would like to get a movement for this clock it has 2 wires leading to a circuit board for playing music. Movement has I.D. Rhythm Watch No (0) Jewels Made in China. Clock was bought in Japan approx. 6 years ago, any advice would be appreciated. Thank you j.con

It sounds as though you have a trigger clock movement. The movement will actually tell the circuit board when to play the sound tones (via the two wires between each unit). Your movement might be similar to this unit:

This movement is connected (via two wires) to the battery pack which contains the circuit board within. The remote mount speaker is wired to the battery pack/circuit board unit (although, with other types of trigger movements, the speaker might be built directly into the battery unit). I do not know if the clock movement (with trigger device) could be retrofitted to your circuit board or not, but I do mention it as it might be a possibility.

Thank you for your reply Chris,
I think you might be spot-on with your advise, hopefully shipping costs will not be a problem. Thanks again. J.Con
