I have recently acquired a NOS Jauch grandfather clock movement that has a center sweep seconds hand . I'm now trying to assemble all the remaining parts for the movement, such as weights, hands, pendulum and dial . I think I can eventually find non-Jauch parts , but would like to know if anyone on this forum knows where I can find authentic Jauch movement parts. My major concern is finding a dial plate that will attach to the false plate that came with the movement . Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated. Respectfully .... Frank Dey (a.k.k. deytime)

Since Jauch is out of business, you may wish to look into possible a conversion to Hermle parts. I would recommend visiting the following site for more information:

http://www.clockworks.com/jauchg.html

If this doesn't help, then a certain (un-named) auction site may prove useful for parts (or for finding a complete unit that parts can be salvaged from).
