Post subject: JC Penny Wall Clock problem
i got a jc penny wall clock i am working on for my mother in law. I'm not sure on the brand of clock but it was made in china. not sure how old it is. not that old i'm thinking. anyway it takes a key to wind. it has 2 wind shafts. there is a thin brass spring that will push against the wind gear keeper. basically it won't stay wound. the skinny flat spring is used on both wind up gears. and it broke. never worked on a clock like this before only cuckoo's. if anyone has any advice please let me know, or where to begin to look for parts for the thing. on the face of the clock it has wrote DEA and has roman numerals for numbers. thanks ya'll
